A rum-finished Tomatin single malt, pure deliciousness! The 10 Year Old was initially matured in oak for nine years before it was treated to a finish in first-fill Caribbean rum barrels for its final year of ageing. Only 7,200 bottles were produced at 46% ABV, and you can expect lots of tropical fruit and chocolate in this Highlander.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Chocolatey Bounty bars and refreshing aromas of tropical fruit, namely passion fruit.
Palate: Banana milkshake leads into tropical lychee and pineapple, with richer notes of salted dark chocolate and toffee.
Finish: A bonanza of tropical fruit and roasted coffee bean linger.
