Ardmore's Triple Wood was originally released for the Travel Retail market, matured in quarter casks, barrels and puncheons. This maturation has imparted plenty of fruity, caramel-y tastiness.
Nose: Chocolate digestives, honey, red berries and a subtle whiff of peat.
Palate: Peppery peat develops more on the palate, paired with raisins and robust vanilla.
Finish: A dry smoky finish.
